WORKS
VĀNASPATHYA SAMBHĀR (Samidha or Stick used as Fuel in the Yagya Vēdi) After Construction of Vēdi we should put the following materials inside the Vēdi. Collect dry stems from these trees and make them into appropriate sizes to fit into the Vēdi. Generally we make them into approximately 8 inches long for a normal Vēdi. 1. Ashwath (holy fig tree or Ficus Religiosa) sticks, Uses of Ficus Religiosa can be found at http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0378874111000614 2. Udumbar (tree Ficus Glomerata) sticks, The bark of Udumbar tree is said to have healing power. When boils or insect bites appear on the skin rub the bark of this tree on a watered stone and make a paste. Now apply the paste on the affected area and allow it to dry. Repeat this process several times and you find the skin getting its normal form. 3. Palāsh (Butea Frondosa) sticks, For medical uses of Palāsh can be found at: http://ijpcr.com/PDF%20all%20edtions%20IJPCR/IJPCR-2010-Vol2/Vol2,Issue2/IJPCR,Vol2,Issue2,Article9.pdf or Click here for pdf file. 4.
